Dave Ferguson is the Lead Pastor of COMMUNITY, an innovative multi-site missional community who is passionate about “helping people find their way back to God”. CCC has grown from a few college friends to thousands every weekend meeting at 14 locations throughout Chicago and was recognized as one of the most influential churches in America. Dave provides visionary leadership for NewThing whose dream is to be a catalyst for a movement of reproducing churches. He is also the co-founder of the Institute for Community, who partner with real estate developers and apartment communities to accomplish their mission of “helping people build quality relationships where you live and work through the power of genuine community.” He is the author/co-author of The BIG IDEA (2007), Exponential (2010) and On The Verge (2011). Next to Jesus, Dave loves his wife, Sue, immensely and his three terrific kids Amy, Joshua and Caleb.

Jon Ferguson is co-founder of Community Christian Church, a reproducing church with 12 locations in the Chicago area. He serves as teaching pastor and leads the team of staff champions for adult, student, children’s and creative arts ministries across all Community locations. Jon is also the co-founder and Movement Architect of NewThing whose mission is to be a catalyst for a movement of reproducing churches. After co-authoring The Big Idea and Exponential, his next adventure has landed Jon in the heart of Chicago to lead the launch of three new church sites. He is director of this Chicago Network, which currently has two campuses and is set to launch the third in October of 2013. Tim Sutherland is the Teaching Team Leader of Community Christian Church in Illinois, a multi-site church with 13 locations around Chicagoland. Tim has bachelor’s degree from Milligan College and a Master’s degree is in marriage and family therapy from Fuller Seminary. After more than a decade in private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist, he joined the staff of Community as Teaching Pastor. Tim has written articles for Marriage Partnership magazine, curriculum for Standard Publishing and commentaries for The Quest Study Bible from Zondervan, as well as scholarly publications in the field of marriage and family therapy. He speaks nationally and internationally for churches and conferences.
